Outline of the department

Research in this department is concerned with epidemiological and experimental studies of the relationship of health and occupational, environmental, or other social factors.
The main projects focus on:
1) Epidemiological and experimental studies of occupational cancer, occupational cervicobrachial disorders, low back pain, agricultural accidents, and so on.
2) Ergonomic studies on work with visual display terminals, repetitive muscular work, care-taking work, and agricultural machine operation.
3) Experimental studies on human response to vibration.
