Outline of the department

The department's objectives are as follows: 
To preserve life by improving standards of resuscitation in the world and to 
co-operate the activities of the specialists with a major interest in 
Resuscitation, Emergency and Medical Care. 
The department shall pursue its objectives: 
Producing guidelines and recommendations appropriate to in and out of hospital 
for practice of cardiopulmonary arrest and cerebral resuscitation 
Promoting the standarized resuscitation practice 
Promoting, organizing and co-ordinating appropriate research 
Promoting exchanges among different disciplines
