Access trouble on Karger online content has been caused.

Since Wednesday, May 27, 2015 our server at www.karger.com 
has been repeatedly attacked by unidentified IP addresses 
generating thousands of downloads during a very short period 
which has caused repeated temporary server and access 
interruptions to Karger content. 
Since we identified and blocked responsible IP addresses, 
smooth service resumed on Friday, May 29, 2015. 
However, on Monday, June 1, 2015 new attacks from 
unidentified IP addresses were registered leading to further 
interruptions in service.

We assure you of our committed best efforts to identify 
server interruptions and block intruders immediately while 
doing further research into the background of these repeated 
attacks and avoidance thereof thus recovering full service 
of our server. 
Since the attacks are unsolicited, no advance information on 
the interruptions has been possible. 

We shall do our utmost to make respective pre- or 
post-announcements of server interruptions and/or 
maintenance work as soon as possible.
