DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS:

May 1, 1997

RULES OF AUTHORSHIP AND PRESENTATION

  1. The first author must be the presenting author at the Meeting.
  2. Authors may present their papers as oral or poster presentations.
  3. Please note that all presenting authors must be pre-registered for the Meeting.


INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION OF ABSTRACTS (in English)

  1. The abstract, including title, author(s), affiliation(s) and text, must fit within the blue box (16.0 x 12.5 cm) on the enclosed camera-ready form.

  2. Do not type in the shaded box (0.5 x 2.0 cm) at the top left corner of the box. Start the title, which should be capitalized, just after the shaded box.

  3. Leave one line space and start the author(s)' name(s) (initial of first name followed by family name) and the author(s)' affiliation(s). Underline the presenting author's name. Do NOT skip a line between author(s) and affiliation(s). Margins should not be justified when listing author(s)' name(s) and affiliation(s)

  4. Leave one line space and start the body of the abstract. Text should be either typed (10 or 12 pitch) or printed (12 point computer font) single-spaced in the space provided. Justify margins here if possible.

  5. Abstracts will be PHOTO-PRINTED exactly as received, therefore any smudges, errors or misspellings in the original abstract will show in the published version.

  6. ONE original and FIVE photocopies MUST be MAILED to the general secretariat at the following address no later than May 1, 1997.
    (Abstracts sent by fax will not be accepted!).

  7. DO NOT fold or bend the original abstract form in any way since creases will appear in the published version. It is recommended that you enclose a piece of cardboard to protect the abstract form in the mail. When making photocopies, please copy the entire form in its original size.

  8. DO NOT forget to indicate the corresponding number of the specific field of your contribution.

NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE

Authors will be notified of the status of their papers, together with more detailed information, by August 1st, 1997. Kindly note that the Organizing Committee shall reserve the right to select papers and their form of presentation, and to finalize the entire program.
