The leading graduate course in Shiga University of Medical Science have provided me a firm background and necessary skills in order to practice in global environment such as The George Institute for Global Health (TGI). The externship, moreover, have been very instructive for orienting my career pathway. In most of my externship time, I have been shadowing senior researchers in Cardiovascular Division of TGI to the recruiting sites to observe their daily work. By doing tasks and activities in various projects there, I have obtained some specific skills in the clinical trial research field. This one month trip was also an unforgettable experience to enjoy Sydney beautiful beaches and its cultural diversity. I would recommend other leading program students to spend their externship in TGI and find their future opportunities for cooperation.
