Information regarding to the novel coronavirus
(Additional information for 19th report)

The government has decided on May 7 that, with regards to the spread prevention of the novel corona virus, along with the extension of emergency measures for the 6 prefectures including Kyoto, Osaka, and Hyogo until the May 31, the prefectures of Aichi and Fukuoka will also be declared in a state of emergency as of May 12, and the prefectures of Mie and Gifu would be designated as areas of important spread prevention measures from May 9.

In response to the current situation, we decided to implement additional prevention measures to both staff and students to wear non- woven fabric masks (surgical masks).

As such, we have revised the "Information regarding the novel coronavirus, 19th report", published on April 27, 2021, as written below;

----------------------------------------------------------------

【Mask wearing(for students and staff)】(* Added on May 7, 2021)

〇 Masks are in principle to be worn by both students and staff when going out, both at school and outside of school.

〇 Non-fabric masks (surgical masks) are strongly recommended over cloth or urethane masks to prevent droplet infection.

〇 However, other masks will be allowed if such non-fabric masks are difficult to wear for various reasons (physical reasons such as skin allergies, and economical reasons, etc.).
