Welcome Party for Malaysian visiting students

Tuesday 5th December, we had a welcome party for four short-term visiting students from the school of Nursing, the National University of Malaysia (UKM). About 25 faculty members and students gathered with attendance of Dr. Shiota, the President of SUMS, Dr. Yamada, the director of Academic Affair and Public Relations, Dr. Kuwata, the chief of Faculty of Nursing, Dr. Aimi, Dr. Sasaki and Prof. Aiura. The attendees introduced each other and had friendly conversations.

UKM and SUMS has started the exchange program in 2015 based on the Partnership Agreement signed in 2011. Three nursing students of SUMS participated in the training at the UKM last June.

The visiting students are going stay at SUMS from Tuesday 5 to Thursday 22 December. The three-week training will be conducted at the School of Nursing, Nursing Division of our university hospital and some neighboring medical and nursing facilities and institutions.
