Courtesy Visit by MEXT Scholarship Students

Seven international students who earned Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship from four different countries, Vietnam, Mongolia, Malaysia and Bangladesh paid courtesy visits to our President Shiota on Friday, October 12, Tuesday, October 16 and Friday, October 26. Their supervisors, Prof. Maegawa, Prof. Katsuyama, Prof. Toyama, Prof. Miura, Prof. Hitoshi and Prof. Ogita, and Prof. Aiura, the director of International Liaison Office, also joined these meetings and had pleasant talks.

Five students among them are from our partner universities, The University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City (UMP), National University of Malaysia (UKM) and Mongolian National University of Medical Science (MNUMS).

SUMS has been building stronger relationships with these three universities exchanging medical students and researchers based on the Academic Cooperation Agreements that was signed with UMP in 2008, UKM in 2011 and with MNUMS in 2013.
